Dad Ben Stirling is a kids' game developer whose wife shares his love for gaming. Before their son turned 1, mom and dad joked that little Samuel was going to "level up" on his birthday, which sparked an idea -- to superimpose the baby's face into classic video games.
"He's really cute, so juxtaposing his little face [with] some of these was too much fun not to do," Stirling told HuffPost via email.
Dad inserted Sam into scenes from Skyrim, Gears of War, Mario Kart, Little Big Planet 2, Mass Effect 2, Portal, and Left 4 Dead -- games he'll get to play when he's a little older.
What does Sam think of the series? "His response was to stare blankly, try to steal my phone and then go back to playing with the talking toy tractor he got for Christmas," dad said.
