Sam performed her cover of Jennifer Rush's 'The Power Of Love' at the NTAs after opening the show with a duet with her idol Michael Bolton.
Her album is reported to feature more covers as well as brand new tracks, and will be released in the middle of the 'X Factor' arena tour, on the day that she supports Beyonce at Birmingham’s LG Arena.
On Wednesday, Sam revealed she has still not met her boss Simon Cowell weeks after her big win on his talent show.
Speaking on the red carpet at the NTAs, she said: "I haven't met him, I've spoken to him on the phone and he's told me not to hold back, to go out there, say what I mean and live the dream."
