'Coronation Street' bosses have confirmed that they will be speaking to Bill Roache over a return to the soap.
The actor - who plays the Street's Ken Barlow - was found not guilty of two counts of rape and four counts of indecent assault on various dates between 1965 and 1972 at Preston Crown Court on Thursday.

Bill has not appeared in the soap since the allegations emerged in April last year, with Ken's sudden disappearance explained by him spending time in Canada with his sick grandson Adam.
Of Bill's return, a 'Coronation Street' spokesperson told Digital Spy: "We look forward to talking to Bill soon about his return to work."
Speaking outside court, Bill also expressed his wish to return to the ITV soap, thanking them for their support through the ordeal.
"First of all, thank you to the jury for a speedy recovery. I'd like to thank all those who have supported me during this situation. First and foremost ITV Granada - I thank them for their loyalty and their support all the way through."
He concluded: "Now, if you'll excuse me, I'd like to get back to work."
