The iPhone 6 is still at least seven months away, but already there are rumours that Apple is preparing to launch a much bigger version of its relatively static flagship mobile device.
Rumours say that Apple might release both a 4.7 and 5.5-inch phone, bridging the gap between the current 4-inch device and the 7.9-inch iPad Mini.

This new set of concepts by designer Federico Ciccarese are the closest we've seen to a full realisation of that idea.
The iPhone they imagine is both larger, sleeker and more perfect that we could have imagined. It's more reminiscent of a Macbook than an iPhone - complete with full aluminium back and white Apple logo.
