Max Vatanen is the latest offspring of a famous racing driver to try his luck on the world stage after it was announced that he would be competing on the World Rally Championship in 2014.
Max, who will be driving in the junior Drive DMACK Fiesta Cup on WRC events, follows in his father Ari's footsteps; one of the legends of the sport, the Finn won the 1981 WRC title.
Whether or not his son can match that success remains to be seen but it got us thinking about other father and son combinations that have made their mark - and we've narrowed it down to our top 10.
Of course, these sort of lists can be highly subjective but the vital ingredient was success - and at a high level - which young Vatanen junior has yet to prove.
