New Musical ‘Charlie And the Chocolate Factory’ leads the way with seven nominations at the Olivier Awards 2014.
The play’s nominations include nods in the Best Actor In A Musical and MasterCard Best New Musical categories.

Douglas Hodge, who spoke to Huffington Post UK about taking on the role of Willy Wonka, is nominated for the Best Actor In A Musical award.
The musical's extravagant and colourful stage has also bagged Mark Thompson a nomination for the XL Video Award For Best Set Design.

Stephen Sondheim’s ‘Merrily We Roll Along’ has seven nominations in categories including Best Director and Best Musical Revival.
A number of famous faces have also been nominated for awards. The Best Actor category sees Jude Law, Tom Hiddleston, Rory Kinnear and Henry Goodman battle it out while Dame Judi Dench is up for the Best Actress prize.
The Olivier Awards will take place in London on 14 April 2014.
