A New Yorker claims she received extra greens in her kale salad – in the form of a severed lizard’s head.
Robin Sandusky ordered the salad from a Guy & Gellard deli in Manhattan on Tuesday, NBC New York writes.
The 31-year-old told the channel that upon her discovery, she called the store and asked for a refund, declining their offer of a replacement salad.

A manager at the store told the channel he apologised to Sandusky but couldn’t confirm if the lizard head was still in the meal when it was returned.
He said: “She told me but I didn’t check it. When the salad came back, I wasn’t here.”
