‘EastEnders’ is welcoming back an old face in the form of Dean Wicks, played by Matt Di Angelo, who is returning to Albert Square after a six year hiatus.
Di Angelo has begun filming Deano’s comeback scenes, though it is not yet known exactly how his return will play out on screen.
Matt returns to Walford
Deano, the estranged son of Shirley Carter, left Walford in 2008 after a tough time behind bars.
"It's such an exciting time for the show and the Carter/Wicks family that I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to reprise the role of Dean,” Matt explained in January. “I'm looking forward to getting back on the Square."
The trouble-making family have taken over the Square since the arrival of Mick Carter (Danny Dyer), who took over the Queen Vic pub.
The Carter family aren’t exactly the quietest bunch and the latest snaps straight from the set show their Grandad Stan getting into trouble, and being carted away by the police.
