Kelly Brook has confirmed that she is engaged to former 'Gladiators' star David McIntosh on her Instagram page.
The two started dating back in January, with rumours starting to fly this weekend that David had proposed after a whirlwind 11-week romance, which Kelly has now confirmed.
She posted a picture of them on her Instagram page clutching an 'engaged' balloon, along with the caption: "Such happy times and excited to share my life with the most wonderful man I've ever met."
Kelly and David announce their engagement officially on Instagram
It's thought that David proposed to Kelly while they were on holiday together, with friends claiming it took the star just three seconds to accept the proposal.
The couple spent this weekend in Wigan, the town David comes from, where Kelly said she was "meeting my new extended family".
However, while Kelly and David celebrate it's thought that not everyone is happy with the engagement - in particular Kelly's management.
A source told The Sun: "Kelly’s management has expressed concern over her choices of men in the past. David is no exception. But Kelly won’t be told."
It was originally thought the pair had split for good after rumours suggested she'd broken up with David after he alerted paparazzi to where they were going to be on holiday, but they were later seen together on a night out in London.
David is best known for appearing on the Sky1 revival of 'Gladiators' for two series, where he competed under the name 'Tornado'.
He also made headlines earlier this month after it emerged he had crashed a van full of dead badgers into a bus stop.
