What’s a beekeeper got to do to get some attention around here?
Try wearing a “bee dress” – consisting of around 456,500 of the blighters.
That’s what She Ping did to get his livelihood into the press, and as you can see…it worked very well.
She Ping unsurprisingly found the experience 'hot, suffocating and nervous'
The 34-year-old from China’s Chongqing donned the 45.65kg "living garment" which consisted of the insects from a whopping 28 beehives.
In quotes translated by The Guardian, he told the Chongqing Evening Post: “I first did this at 22, just for fun and out of curiosity. Later on I would put on the bees just for the sake of making people believe I sell actual real honey.
“The last time I did this, I put on a total of 15 beehives on my body, but today I’m breaking my own record [with 28].”
He confessed he found the experience “hot, suffocating and nervous” and had been stung more than 20 times.
No shit.
