'EastEnders' Spoiler News: Matt DiAngelo Returns As Dean Wicks On Monday Night

'EastEnders' Spoiler: Welcome Back, Deano!

Dramatic scenes are due to air in ‘EastEnders’ next week, as Matt DiAngelo returns to our screens playing Dean “Deano” Wicks after six years away from Albert Square.

It was previously reported that the soap actor and ‘Strictly’ star would be returning to the soap, and we can now reveal exactly how he’ll make his comeback.

Stan is suspicious to discover Deano at his door

In scenes to air this Monday, Stan Carter (Timothy West) is just settling in for the night after an argument with his family, when he receives a sudden knock at the door.

He is then surprised - though admittedly also suspicious - to discover his estranged grandson Deano, begging to be hidden.

While Dean does manage to conjure up an excuse as to why he needs to be let in and kept out of sight, Stan still believes something is amiss.

Why does Deano need to be hidden?

Dean left Walford in 2008 after a turbulent time, which included a spell behind bars and a blazing feud with some of his family members.

It's since been revealed the character has been living in Australia, and has a new girlfriend.

Could she be making an appearance too in the weeks to come? Watch this space.

Watch these scenes unfold on Monday, April 14 at 8pm and Tuesday, April 15 at 7.30pm on BBC One.
