Samsung has released the Gear 2 smartwatch in the UK alongside the new Galaxy S5 smartphone and the Gear Fit fitness band.
Coming in two flavours, the Gear 2 (with camera) costs £249 while the Gear 2 Neo (without camera) costs £169.
Both the devices are a vast improvement on the original Galaxy Gear, with more attractive looks, more apps and services, a customised Tizen OS and a more colourful range of watch faces and software.
We particularly like the Gear 2 Neo, which is playful and fun, with its plastic looks and strap, but packs in a serious amount of useful features.
Both the watches have heart rate monitors and 4GB of storage for playing music on the go. Both can make calls when connected to a compatible Samsung phone too - and both have pedometers and exercise trackers.
