When the ‘EastEnders’ team warned us that things in Walford would “change forever” following the huge ‘Whodunnit?’ plot, we had no idea it would be this drastic. Warning: there are spoilers ahead.
Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) will struggle to come to terms with daughter Lucy’s murder when the actress, played by Hetti Bywater is killed off and he eventually receives comfort from the most unlikely place.
Phil comforts Ian
Ian and Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) haven’t exactly been BFFLs during their time in Walford, however after some cajoling from Sharon, Phil agrees to pop over to Ian’s and offer his condolences.
Ian, who by this point will have already broken down on numerous occasions, even ends up literally crying on Phil’s shoulder.
Viewers will see the whole Beale family struggle to come to terms with Lucy’s death - though one of them could actually be responsible for it.
