That's right, the St. Mark's and Panagia Erithiani church parishes battle each other across town with a 'rocket war' on the stroke of midnight before Easter Sunday.
The winner is whichever side can hit the others bell tower the most times with their handmade rockets - up to 25,000 are fired.
