Do the stories of ordinary people get left behind in the day-to-day reporting and the dour political analysis of international war and tragedy?
Filmmaker Vanessa Black, 26, believes they do, and spent a month in Ukraine interviewing the people who took to the Maidan to topple pro-Kremlin president Viktor Yanukovych about their reactions to the revolution, the crisis in Crimea and eastern Ukraine.
