‘Britain's Got Talent' Star Lettice Rowbotham 'Enjoyed Romance' With ‘X Factor' Singer Matt Cardle

‘Britain’s Got Talent’ star Lettice Rowbotham reportedly enjoyed a secret fling with ‘X Factor’ winner Matt Cardle, according to reports.

The pair apparently met around eight years ago and later began dating, though things only lasted a few months before they “split amicably”.

A source has told The Sun that the pair are still pals and they haven’t been shy about sharing some cheeky selfies on Twitter in recent weeks.

“Lettice and Matt are great friends but what she likes to keep quiet is that they were a couple,” a source told the paper. “It was quite a full-on thing and she was always talking about how sexy he was. She was besotted with him — and still is.

“It didn’t last long though. I think they both thought it would probably ruin their friendship. They both have an ambitious streak so it works best if they’re just friends.”

Violinist Lettice was a big hit when she appeared on ‘BGT’ recently, wowing the audience and judges, despite the fact she had a massive hangover.

The 24-year-old would have appeared on our screens long before 2014 if she’d accepted an offer from ‘Made In Chelsea’ bosses, who were keen to sign her up to the E4 constructed reality show.

Lettice has already come up with a nickname for her fans - which is arguably the best fandom name ever - christening them ‘Lettice Leaves’.
