Michelle Keegan And Mark Wright Discuss Wedding Plans In New Interview

Michelle Keegan and fiancé Mark Wright have discussed their forthcoming wedding in a new interview.

The couple announced their engagement last year after the former ‘TOWIE’ star proposed to Michelle while they were on holiday in Dubai, and they’re now planning on getting married next year.

However Mark has admitted he’s feeling emotional about the upcoming nuptials, telling OK! magazine: “I know I'm going to be a complete wreck at the wedding – I'm dreading having to hold back the tears.”

The ‘Coronation Street’ actress also spoke of her excitement to marry Mark, saying: “Mark makes me really happy, we have banter and laugh all the time - I can't wait to marry him.”

Michelle is now planning to leave her native Manchester so she can live with her husband-to-be in Essex, revealing they’ve now found a house together with “a big garden and it’s in a lovely area”.

It was reported earlier this week that Michelle has asked Mark’s sister Jessica, who also stars in ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ to be her bridesmaid in the wedding.

Meanwhile, although Michelle’s plans for her personal life may be in order, she’s admitted she isn’t sure what her next move is now that she’s left ‘Corrie’, telling Mail Online: "There's no plan. 'I'm going to go with the flow and if I get another job straight away, great, but if I don't then I don't.”

She spoke to OK! about her exit from the soap, and admitted leaving ‘Coronation Street’ on her last day - having played Tina McIntyre for six years - was difficult.

Michelle said: "I cried on my last day - it's like finishing high school but no-one's coming with me!"

To celebrate leaving ‘Coronation Street’, Michelle threw a chav-themed fancy dress party attended by the cast and crew of the show, including Kym Marsh, Brooke Vincent and Georgia May Foote, who also announced this week that she was quitting the soap.

Michelle said the party was a lot of fun, but admitted she might have overdone it, admitting: “My leaving party was the best party I've been to - it took me three days to recover!”
