Solange, Jay Z And Beyoncé Statement: Family Finally Speak Out Over Standard Hotel Fight Video

'We Have Moved Forward As A United Family'

Solange, Jay Z and Beyoncé have finally issued a statement in response to the fight video that went viral earlier this week.

Whilst the statement doesn't go as far as letting us all know why the fight at New York's Standard hotel took place (there are plenty of theories), it does state that Solange and Jay Z have kissed and made up.

The full statement released to the Associated Press reads:"As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident.

"But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it. Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred.

"They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologised to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.

"The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behaviour throughout that evening are simply false.

"At the end of the day, families have problems and we're no different. We love each other and above all we are family. We've put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same."

Solange was seen lashing out at Jay Z in a lift at a Met Ball after party as Beyoncé looked on.

The Standard Hotel have confirmed that they have identified and sacked the employee responsible for leaking the video, which the individual was reportedly paid $250,000 for.

The hotel's spokesman, Brian Phillips, said: "The Standard has identified the individual responsible for breaching the security policies of the hotel and recording the confidential CCTV video released by TMZ."

"The Standard has already terminated the individual and will now be pursuing all available civil and criminal remedies."

The inking looked noticeably faded when she was photographed at a basketball game with husband Jay Z just days after Solange attacked the rapper.

The singer has ‘IV’ - the Roman numeral for the number ‘four’ - tattooed in red ink on her ring finger, a reference to the date the couple got married, April 4.
