Not one, but two stars were the victims of unfortunate wardrobe malfunctions at the TV Baftas on Sunday night, with TV personalities Davina McCall and Laura Whitmore accidentally (we think…) flashing a bit too much on the red carpet.
We absolutely loved the black dress that Davina hit the red carpet wearing, though we have to say we were less impressed by the see-through appearance it took on when hit by the flash-bulbs of the assembled paps.
Davina McCall
At least she was wearing decent underwear, that’s all we can say.
Regrettably the same can’t be said for her fellow TV presenter Laura Whitmore, who took to the red carpet in a floor-length white gown, which we’re sure looked elegant when she picked it out.
However, the photographers’ cameras ended up not being the only things flashing on the red carpet, as it was quickly discovered that Laura had picked an unfortunate day to venture out without wearing a bra.
Chilly, Laura?
A word of advice, Laura: In the future take a leaf out of Davina’s book and that way you can avoid looking like you’ve taken the “smuggling Tic Tacs” approach to red carpet fashion.
Despite her minor fashion mishap, it did end up being a great night for Davina as she scooped the award for ‘Features’ thanks to her emotional series ‘Long Lost Family’.
The biggest winners of the night were Ant and Dec who bagged two gongs for their show ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’, which, if nothing else, means there won’t be any squabbling over who gets to take the award home with them.
