Police say they have found 23g of marijuana in the stomach folds of a 450lb (32 stone) man who also goes by the name “Fat Boy”.

The 42-year-old is alleged to have said he was too fat to be buckled in.

Roll another fat one... Christopher Mitchell has been charged with possession of marijuana

Mitchell, who was with driver Keithian Roberts, appeared "nervous" and drug detecting dogs were brought to the scene, the Daytona Beach News Journal reports.

It adds that along with the 23g of marijuana found in Mitchell’s stomach rolls, a quantity of cocaine was also found in the vehicle, along with a .380-caliber semi-automatic handgun and more than $7,000 in cash stuffed into a sock.

Mitchell was charged with possession of marijuana and cited for not wearing a seatbelt, Volusia County Sheriff spokesman Gary Davidson said in a press release.

He added Roberts was charged with possession of cocaine.

As well as "Fat Boy", Mitchell also goes by the name “Biggie”, according to the Florida Department of Corrections website.

He was convicted in 2002 for conspiracy to traffic cocaine, but records show he has gained around 200lbs since then.
