Susanna Reid might not have managed to attract the viewers to 'Good Morning Britain', but show bosses are still 'delighted' with her, according to a former colleague.
Fellow presenter Matt Barbet, who used to present 'Daybreak', told The Sun that Susanna's cool and collected nature will see her go far.

“There was a survey last year that found Susanna was the most popular breakfast presenter ever," Matt told the newspaper.
“She had an air of calm about her, and never got flustered. And whatever Susanna is doing, she’s engaging.
“There’s no doubting ITV will be delighted at having landed her — I think it’s a real coup for them and she will be a long-term success there.”
Susanna has been fronting ‘Good Morning Britain’ since it launched in April, however, the show has been heavily criticised and viewers have failed to warm to the revamped show.
The show is now reportedly facing the axe, as viewing figures have dropped to just 270,000 while 1.17million people have tuned in to watch 'BBC Breakfast'.
Earlier this month, Susanna's former 'BBC Breakfast' co-presenter, Bill Turnbull, said she should ignore the critics.
Speaking to The Mirror, he said: “It’s hard getting flak but she should let it go over her head. If you are a presenter you get all kind of things written about you in the papers and on Twitter.
“But if you let that get to you then you are finished.”
“You have to be your own person, good, bad or indifferent, and do the best you can,” he added.
