The Arturo Vidal saga looks set to rumble on amid reports Manchester United could sign the Juventus midfielder in a player-plus-cash swap deal involving Javier Hernández.
Reports suggest Juve want £36 million for the 27-year-old Chilean, as well as two United players. Hernández's agent, Eduardo Hernández, hinted he would have news "soon" on his client's future.
"For now I cannot comment on the situation," he told South American reporters.
Vidal has been linked with United on a near-daily basis
"I have no news at the moment on an exchange, I haven't spoken to anyone in England, but there will be news soon."
Hernández has struggled to re-capture the form of his 20-goal debut season at United
Some bookmakers have since suspended betting on Vidal joining United, who have signed just two players this summer.
Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw both completed their moves for a combined £56m in June, and despite United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward teasing fans to "watch this space", supporters are becoming increasingly frustrated.
