Forget online dating, finding your one true love is easier than you think. Thanks to MTV's Match Machine app you can now find your perfect match in a click of a button and a quick scan of your Facebook friends.
To promote its new dating show Are You The One? MTV Asia has launched an app that compares your Facebook profile to all of your friends' to "help you find your perfect match."
Match Machine allows you to select female matches, male matches or both to find the most compatible companion. So who are you likely to match with?
The app compares similar interests, mutual friends, pictures together and your overall interaction with certain people on Facebook.
A quick office poll revealed this tool is, a bit hit and miss. While some were matched to current beaus and best pals - I was matched to my boyfriend, despite not having my relationship status listed - others were way off the mark.
MyDaily Editor Sara McCorquodale wasn't paired with her husband, but one of his best pals instead!
Deputy Editor Katie Jones was teamed up with her sister's gay best friend and NOT her long-term boyf. And a whole host of girls were matched to the same guy in the office... That's going to make water cooler chit chat pretty awkward!
