It's every girl's inherent right to come out looking better than EVER post love-split. And Paula Patton did exactly that as she had jaws dropping all over the show at the 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards. Go, girl.
The actress was simply exquisite at Saturday's bash in a long-sleeved yellow lace minidress by Lorena Sarbu, which she paired with leg-enhancing nude Christian Louboutin shoes.
It was her first official red carpet appearance since splitting from her husband of nine years, singer Robin Thicke, whom she'd been with for 22 years in total.
The Daily Mail reports that Robin has been on a mission to get Paula back, sending her a number of floral arrangements. He also dedicated a song to her during an emotional performance in Virginia on Thursday night.
He told the audience: "For y'all that don't know, me and my wife separated, but I'm trying to get my girl back. She's a good woman."
He then sang Lost Without U, which he wrote for her.
