Gary Busey’s ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ housemates might be keeping their fingers crossed that he’ll be booted out in the first eviction of the series on Wednesday night, but it seems he’s a lot more popular with viewers than he is with his fellow contestants.
In fact, the ‘Point Break’ actor has been named the favourite to follow in previous winner Jim Davidson's footsteps by bookies - with odds of 9/4 according to Ladbrokes - despite being chosen as the first housemate to face eviction by Leslie Jordan as part of the ‘Celebrity Scrapheap’ task.

A Ladbrokes spokesperson said, as reported in The Mirror: “Gary might claim he doesn't care about winning but punters aren't buying his bluff.”
However, while it’s pretty much a dead cert that Gary won’t be saying goodbye to the ‘CBB’ house on Wednesday night, it seems like David McIntosh is less lucky, and is the current favourite to leave in the first eviction, with former ‘Emmerdale’ actress Claire King not far behind.

David has been pulling out all the stops to ensure he doesn’t leave first - and by that we mean that he’s been wandering around with his top off as much as is humanly possible - but it clearly hasn’t been enough to win over the public.
Still, at least Kelly Brook will be happy to have her man back home.
Despite being current favourite to win, Gary has been seen rowing with his housemates on a number of occasions, including during Tuesday night’s highlights show when he and ‘Benefits Street’ resident White Dee came to blows.
Tune in to ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ on Wednesday night at 9pm on Channel 5 to see whether it’s Claire, David, Gary, James or Kellie who the public send packing.
