Claire King has left the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house so she can receive medical attention, it has been confirmed.
The former ‘Emmerdale’ actress was taken to hospital after complaining that she’d been feeling ill over the weekend, eventually leaving the ‘CBB’ compound on Sunday afternoon.

A Channel 5 spokesperson confirmed on Sunday night: “Due to ill health Claire has had to leave the house to receive medical attention.”
It’s not yet known whether or not Claire will have recovered enough from her 'mystery illness' to return to the house, with an insider telling The Mirror that her future in the reality series was still “not sure”.
The celebrity housemates had been forced to survive on basic rations for the past few days, after failing their weekly shopping task, though they had been treated to a slap-up meal on Saturday night thanks to James Jordan and Audley Harrison triumphing in a task.
Claire isn’t the first star to fall ill in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house, after ‘TOWIE’ cast member Sam Faiers became seriously unwell during her stint in January’s series, eventually being diagnosed with Crohn’s disease following her eviction.
Meanwhile, during this summer’s regular ‘Big Brother’ series, law student and former Playboy model Kimberly Kisselovich was removed from the house for medical reasons, which was later revealed to have been caused by an ectopic pregnancy.
Claire has so far managed to avoid eviction once this series, after David McIntosh received the fewest votes from the British public and was booted out of the house last week.
