Brad And Ange 'Paid $5m For Wedding Photos'

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie used their secret wedding in France as an opportunity to raise some cash for charity by reportedly donating the money raised from selling the photos of their big day to good causes.

According to reports, the Hollywood power couple were paid a whopping $5million (£3.06m) from Hello! and People magazine for the rights to the pics of their big day in the south of France in August.

The intimate snaps, which also included their six children - Maddox, 13, Pax, 10, Zahara, 9, Shiloh, 8, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 6, appeared online last week.

A source told RadarOnline.com: "Each [publication] paid $2.5 million for a selection of wedding pictures from Brad and Angelina’s wedding.

"Hello! has the international rights to the pictures. Before the wedding, Brad and Angie personally chose a photographer they had worked with from Getty Images for the wedding.

"Brad and Angelina knew there would be tremendous interest in their wedding pictures, and decided to donated the money to their charitable foundation. The couple has done this numerous times in the past."

The money has been donated to the couple's Maddox Jolie Pitt Foundation, which supports numerous humanitarian projects around the world.

It was formed in 2003 after Angelina adopted her oldest son Maddox from Cambodia.

The couple were previously paid $14million to publish photographs of their twins in 2008.
