Now that ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ has wrapped up for another series, and this year’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ line-up are all hard at work in training, that can mean only one thing… it’s time for the rumours about who’s taking part in ‘I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here’ to start.
Not one but two cast members from ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ have already been rumoured to be heading to the jungle, with both Gemma Collins and Chloe Sims among the stars potentially taking part in the next series of the hit reality show.
Gemma Collins
A source told The Sun: “Bosses really want to sign a reality TV star after the success of Mark Wright and Joey Essex around the Aussie camp fire.”
While we think GC in the jungle would be must-see viewing, particularly if she brought along her collection of kaftans for an outback fashion show, it seems that producers are more keen to rope in Chloe than Gemma, with the source adding: “Gemma has had one meeting but talks are more advanced with Chloe. Bosses really seem to like her.
Chloe Sims
Meanwhile, if Chloe does go into the jungle it sounds like she’ll have the full support of her cousin, Joey Essex, who famously took part in ‘I’m A Celebrity’ last year, dominating the show thanks to his flirtation with Amy Willerton, as well as his inability to tell the time.
He previously told Bang Showbiz: “I think Chloe would be great in the jungle because she's very opinionated. Yeah I think she would do really well in there.”
However, he did admit that he wasn’t sure whether Chloe - who is currently dating her co-star Elliot Wright - would be any good at tackling a Bushtucker Trial, admitting: “It's one of those things isn't it? You get there and you either do or you don't and you've just got to be brave.”
Former ‘X Factor’ judge Tulisa has also reportedly been offered a massive sum of money to take part in the next series of ‘I’m A Celebrity’, while 'Corrie' star Michael LeVell has denied rumours he'll be heading to the jungle.
