'Coronation Street' Actor Marc Baylis: 'Women Find Rob Donovan More Sexy After Tina's Murder'

'Women Find Me More Sexy As A Murderer'

You would think that ‘Coronation Street’ actor Marc Baylis, who plays killer Rob Donovan, would want to keep his head down after viewers saw him finishing off Michelle Keegan’s character earlier this year - but he reckons women now find him sexier than ever.

MORE 'CORRIE':

After months of speculation, Rob was revealed to be Tina McIntyre’s killer back in May, when he pushed her off some scaffolding and then, as if that wasn’t enough, beat her to death with a lead pipe.

Grim. Or so you’d think.

Marc Baylis

Speaking to The Sun, Marc - who was nominated for Sexiest Male and Best Bad Boy at this year’s Inside Soap Awards - says: “It’s quite perverse but people have started to find Rob a bit more attractive, which worries me!”

Marc had previously admitted he was worried about what the public’s reaction would be to his character once he was revealed as a murderer, joking: “I think I will swim into work across the canal so no one can see me! I will just have to take all the flack - and all the eggs - on the chin.”

At the moment, the residents of Weatherfield have no idea that Rob is behind Tina’s death, with Peter Barlow - who had been having an affair with her, with the two even planning to run away together - being wrongly convicted for her murder in dramatic scenes on Monday night.

Meanwhile, Rob’s wedding to Peter’s sister, Tracy Barlow, is right around the corner, and while producers are keen to keep exactly what happens a secret, it sounds like viewers are in for some dramatic scenes.
