Phillip Schofield may want to stock up on energy drinks, after it’ was announced he’s going to be broadcasting live on ITV for 24 hours later this year.
His 24-hour jaunt will help raise money for ‘Text Santa’, the channel’s annual charity appeal.

An ITV insider told The Sun: “The details are still being worked out but Phillip will be on screen live for 24 hours non-stop - minus toilet breaks.
“He’s not quite sure how he’s going to physically manage it yet but it’s all for a good cause and he’s raring to go.”
Phillip’s mammoth challenge is thought to kick off on 1 December, where he’ll kick off by presenting live on ‘This Morning’ as usual, before continuing on until the following day when he’ll finally be allowed to get some shut eye.
He already presents a number of ITV’s flagship shows, such as ‘The Cube’ and ‘‘All Star Mr & Mrs’, and regularly appears as a guest on ‘Celebrity Juice’, all of which we could see being slotted into his mammoth live schedule, while we’d love to see him keeping the ‘Loose Women’ company for the one-off stint.
Of course, what we’d be even more looking forward to is seeing Susanna Reid shake him awake at the ‘Good Morning Britain’ desk the following morning...
Rumours have already begun circulating about how this year’s ‘Text Santa’ will top last year’s, which saw Cheryl Fernandez-Versini appearing alongside Michelle Keegan in a ‘Coronation Street’ sketch.
It’s been previously suggested that Simon Cowell could be planning a celebrity version of ‘The X Factor’ in the run-up to ‘Text Santa’ 2014.
