‘X Factor' Judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini Hits Back At Miming Claims On Instagram

Cheryl Speaks Out Following Miming Accusations

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has hit back at an Instagram user who accused her of miming during her performance on Sunday night’s ‘X Factor’.

The judge briefly left her seat on the panel in Sunday’s results show, performing her latest single ‘I Don’t Care’, though many viewers took to Twitter to question whether she was actually singing.

Many fans accused Cheryl of miming in the pre-recorded performance

Chezza shared a snap of her single cover on Instagram on Tuesday and, while many fans had nice things to say, The Mirror reports that one individual - who has since deleted their account - commented: “Do we get discount on your mimed performance you did on sat? @cherylofficial.”

The Instagram user was in for a shock, though, as Cheryl decided to reply to the comment, writing: “aww bless you live performances are not included on albums I’m afraid. And I performed on Sunday ! Don’t mug yourself off on my page. It’s not cute. Go teach some dance instead.” Ouch.

Judging from her outburst, it seems Cheryl may have been taking some social media etiquette tips from her husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, who jumped to her defence on Instagram earlier this year.

So far, the current series of ‘X Factor’ hasn’t exactly gone to plan for Cheryl, and in Sunday’s episode, she lost a third act when Lola Saunders left the competition.
