Golden Globes Nominations: Benedict Cumberbatch And Eddie Redmayne Lead British Nominees (FULL LIST)

Benedict And Eddie Lead The Brits In The Golden Globes Nominations

Benedict Cumberbatch and Eddie Redmayne have both received a nod on the Golden Globes nominations list, along with fellow Brits David Oyelowo, Keira Knightley and Felicity Jones.

The actors are all battling it out for the Best Actor In A Drama gong, while Keira and Felicity have been nominated for Best Supporting Actress and Best Actress, respectively.

David, Eddie and Benedict will battle it out

Both ‘The Imitation Game’ and ‘The Theory Of Everything’ are tipped to triumph in next year’s awards season, while David’s nomination is for his role in ‘Selma’.

There are a number of other British stars on the full list, including Benedict’s ‘Sherlock’ co-star Martin Freeman, who’s up for the Best Actor In A Mini-Series prize for his work on ‘Fargo’.

‘Downton Abbey’ star Joanne Froggatt and ‘Derek’ creator Ricky Gervais are also nominated, along with Alan Cumming, who starred in ‘The Good Life’.

The nominations are Benedict and Eddie’s second nods in as many days, following the Screen Actors Guild Award announcement, which was made on Wednesday.

The Golden Globes will take place in LA on 11 January.
