There's a bit of a surprise from the bookies this morning, ahead of tonight's final. Although Simon's contestant Fleur East wowed audiences last week with her rendition of Mark Ronson's song 'Uptown Funk' and promptly found herself at the top of the iTunes chart, it seems that Simon's other act Ben Haenow's popularity ever since the beginning of the competition has endured, with bookies now placing him as the favourite to win.
Fleur East, Ben Haenow and Andrea Faustini will fight it out tonight for this year's X Factor victory
They've given Ben very short odds of only 8/13 to take this year's title. Closely following him is Fleur East, with respectable odds of 7/4. Now bringing up the outside is Andrea Faustini, with bookies now putting him at 16/1.
All three artists have spent this week practising, as well as recording their chosen victory song, so that, whoever wins, the X Factor single can be swiftly released and enter the battle for the Christmas number one spot.
There's been more drama over at the judges' table, with ITV confirming today that Mel B won't be well enough to attend the final tonight, with her place to be taken by former judge Tulisa Contostavlos, who will also be offering support to Mel's act Andrea.
The X Factor final kicks off tonight at 8.30pm. Which of these year's finalists do you think deserves to win?
