A Belgian charity organisation has come up with a brilliant idea to help those without a home in the harsh winter: a public fridge where locals can pop in food and other produce.
The installment is to remain in the Brussels street until further notice, providing the less fortunate with some sorely needed provisions.

Mathilde Pelsers, president of the Corvia charity, said: "The fridge is open and works 24/7. Everybody can access the fridge both to take or to bring food."
The charity previously made headlines when it offered up a "Love Room" for homeless people to meet, hoping to help them develop a "normal" love life.
