Cricket fans in Melbourne, Australia, were shocked when a seagull seemingly came back to life after being slammed by a pull stroke in mid-air.
Perth Scorchers batsman Adam Voges whacked the ball during the Big Bash cricket match on Wednesday, accidentally knocking a seagull out of the sky.

Melbourne Stars fielder Rob Quiney picked up the half-dead mess of feathers to put it on the sidelines and urged officials to put it out of its misery, but minutes later the 33,000 spectators cheered as the bird sprung back to life.
The seagull later decided to get back in on the action, giving his rescuer a peck on the way past before returning to the exact spot where it was hit in the first place.
