‘The Jump': Joey Essex Triumphs Over Mike Tindall In The Final

And The Winner Of 'The Jump' Is...

Joey Essex has been crowned winner of the winter sports reality series ‘The Jump’, after beating Mike Tindall in the final.

The former ‘TOWIE’ star was competing against Mike and Louise Hazel, and in the final rounds, Mike and Louise both jumped 17m, while Joey managed an impressive 17.5m.

Jon-Allen Butterworth and Chloe Madeley were the first celebs to leave the final, followed by Louise Thompson.

While a number of the stars have previously had to complete the ski jump to secure their place in the competition, the final was the first time Joey had to take on the task.

Heather was forced to borrow another leg, and later stated: “I was jumping 14 or 15 meters consistently on the other leg. If felt very heavy. If you imagine I strapped eight kilos to your leg and then threw you off the jump, you would actually be unbalanced and tip over."

‘Strictly Come Dancing’ pro Ola Jordan was due to take part in the series, however a training injury meant she had to pull out of the show.

Ola is now hoping to make a full recovery, with the aim of returning to the BBC dance show this winter.
