The 'Infrared Microwave' Would Be Great If It Existed, Which It Does Not (Yet)

This Microwave Has A Live Infrared Camera Inside

A former NASA engineer has invented a microwave with an infrared camera inside.

One-time NASA JPL engineer Mark Rober unveiled his (patented) concept on YouTube and Gizmodo.

The idea is pretty simple - to put a live infrared view of whatever’s in the nuking machine, and send that video to the front of the cooker and also to your phone.

That way, you can tell when it’s hot. Neat.

You can read more about the idea and his plans for actually making and selling it over at his website.
