Most of us do yoga in the comfort of our local gym with a mat and an experienced instructor to help.

But an increasing amount of people are trying out "extreme yoga", taking their headstands out of the studio and into Mother Nature.

These brave souls are showing off their impressive poses in some of the world's most scenic locations, including cliff tops, beaches and glaciers.

Needless to say, extreme yoga can be a lot more dangerous than performing your downward dog at home.
