‘EastEnders' ‘Who Killed Lucy Beale?' Reveal Pulls In Over 10 Million Viewers As Live Week Continues

A LOT Of People Watched 'EastEnders' On Thursday

‘EastEnders’ was a huge ratings hit on Thursday night, when the truth about Lucy Beale’s killer was revealed.

Over 10.8 million viewers tuned in to see the first of the night’s shows, which concluded with Ian Beale telling his new wife Jane: “I know you killed Lucy”.

Viewers finally learnt the truth in last night's flashback episode

However, as the 10.3 million people who watched the flashback episode found out, things were far from finished and the second show revealed that Bobby Beale was actually responsible for his sister’s death.

The impressive figures follow Tuesday’s hit episode, which pulled in 9 million viewers.

So far, live week has given fans plenty to talk about, and surprises have included Dot’s arrest and Kathy Beale’s shock return.

The hotly-anticipated live scenes have also been handled well by the cast, and when Jo Joyner fluffed her lines on Wednesday, her co-stars took to Twitter to laugh off the incident.

Tonight’s (Friday 20 February) episode will pick up where Thursday’s main show left off - and it will be completely live.
