David Walliams Kisses Orlando Bloom During Comic Relief World Record Attempt After ‘Little Britain' Stephen Hawking Sketch (VIDEO)

Mwah! David And Orlando Pucker Up After Stephen Hawking Sketch

David Walliams was one of the many A-listers who did something funny for money on Friday night, in a bid to raise cash for Comic Relief.

In previous years, the comedian has completed a number of gruelling physical challenges, but this year, he got to show his cheeky side, enjoying a smooch with Orlando Bloom - oh, and 54 other people.

Mwah!

David successfully broke the Guinness World Record for the most kisses received in 30 seconds during the telethon, and he also shared in one of the evening’s funny sketches.

David reprised one of his most famous ‘Little Britain’ roles, but instead of being joined by Matt Lucas, the ‘BGT’ judge was joined by Stephen Hawking.

The sketch saw the professor become exasperated with David and Catherine Tate, who was dressed as a nun, after a discussion about God.

Stephen and his wheelchair then morphed into a transformer. Yes, really.

Lenny Henry and Russell Brand announce the fundraising total

This year's Red Nose Day appeal raised £78 million, breaking the previous record for the most cash raised on the charity day.

The total also took the appeal's total funds ever raised past the £1 billion mark.
