Event organiser Emily Eavis shared the news on Twitter, writing: “We are thrilled to let you know we have the one and only Kanye West headlining Saturday night on the Pyramid stage!”
Kanye is the second confirmed headliner, following Dave Grohl’s confirmation that the Foo Fighters will be making their way to Worthy Farm this June.
The only other act officially confirmed for the event is Lionel Richie, though Florence Welch, of Florence And The Machine, has hinted that she’ll be appearing at Glasto too.
Other acts rumoured to be performing include Coldplay and Oasis, who could reunite now that Liam and Noel Gallagher are pals again.
