The Apple Watch is an entirely new product category for the company, as such Apple is approaching the launch in an entirely new way.
Not only can you pre-order the Apple Watch today but from now and until after the 24 April release date you'll be able to book an appointment and actually try the Watch on with a specialist.
While you'll still be able to go into a store and try it out on the tables, Apple is going further because of the customisation that naturally comes with buying a watch.
Once booked in you'll be able to get measured for either the 38mm or the larger 42mm. You can then try out the different models and straps until you've settled on one that you like.
You can then either pre-order the watch in-store or go home and do it online.
