The ‘Thinking Out Loud’ singer, who is a huge fan of the fantasy drama, is reportedly in talks with bosses about landing himself a part in the next series.

The 24-year-old missed out on the chance to appear as an extra three years ago because filming clashed with his tour.
Ed told The Sun: “There were talks ages ago of me being an extra, which could have been cool. But every time they shoot it’s the time I tour in the UK.
“But I’ve got that time off this year, so I’m going to hound them.”

Other musicians who have already appeared in ‘Game Of Thrones’ include Snow Patrol frontman Gary Lightbody and Coldplay drummer Will Champion.
It wouldn’t be Ed’s first acting role either, having filmed scenes for Aussie soap ‘Home And Away’ last month.
“He will appear as himself in the series,” a Channel Seven spokesperson confirmed to Daily Mail Australia. “But storyline details about what brings Ed to Summer Bay are being kept under wraps for now.”
