JJ Abrams has revealed that he’s considering killing off one of the most-hated film characters of all time.
The ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ director has revealed that he might kill off Jar Jar Binks in his highly-anticipated upcoming movie.
Goodbye Jar Jar...?
During an interview with Vanity Fair, he explains: “I have a thought about putting Jar Jar Binks’s bones in the desert there.
“I’m serious! Only three people will notice, but they’ll love it.”
The director has previously stated that he isn’t planning to leave ‘easter eggs’ in his new flick, however, his latest statement is likely to mean plenty of viewers will be scanning the background throughout desert scenes.

It’s been a bumper week for ‘Star Wars’ fans, thanks to Vanity Fair’s upcoming special. Just days ago, Adam Driver and Lupita Nyong’o’s characters were revealed for the first time.
As expected, ‘Girls’ star Adam is playing a villain, but it’s not yet clear which side of the resistance Lupita’s CGI-rendered character will be on.
