Zayn Malik won’t be starring as a judge on the new series of’ ‘X Factor’, his representatives have confirmed.
The former One Direction singer was rumoured to be in line for a place on the panel, however his reps have now rubbished the reports, labelling them “a complete fabrication”, according to the Mirror.

It’s believed that Louis Walsh and Mel B won’t be returning for the upcoming series of the talent show, leaving two spaces on the panel, alongside Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.
There has been plenty of talk about who music mogul Si will recruit for the job, and Zayn’s former bandmate Louis Tomlinson is also rumoured to be on the shortlist.
It’s not just the judging panel that’s changing either as presenter Dermot O’Leary has also left, making way for Caroline Flack and Olly Murs.
The format will also be undergoing some tweaks, and it’s even been suggested that this year’s judges’ houses shows could be screened live. No, we’re not sure how that will work with the time differences either…
