Ant and Dec have certainly come a long way since their days of earning £100 a day playing PJ and Duncan on ‘Byker Grove’.
A very long way in fact, after it was revealed the pair are now reportedly raking in £23,000 a DAY.
That's slightly less than the average annual national wage, in case you were wondering.
Ant and Dec
According to accounts filed by their companies, the Geordie duo banked £8.4million between them for hosting three of ITV’s biggest primetime shows - ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’, ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ and ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The pair, both 39, are locked in a golden handcuffs deal with ITV, which will see them presenting for the channel until at least 2016.
The lads pocketed even more cash - £15million to be precise - by selling the rights to ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’ to the American network, NBC.
A source told The Mirror: “It’s little surprise they are raking it in given they are fronting three of the biggest and most popular shows on TV, with huge ratings to boot.
“For the big cheeses at the top of ITV, they are worth every penny.”
