Helen Flanagan and Scott Sinclair have introduced their baby daughter Matilda Jackson to the world - and isn’t she a cutie?
Former ‘Coronation Street’ star Helen and her footballer beau welcomed their first child into the world on Monday and couldn’t wait to share a few snaps of their bundle of joy on Instagram.
The couple, who kept the sex of their first child as a surprise until her arrival, had to wait two extra weeks for little Matilda to put in an appearance, who arrived a fortnight past her due date.
Describing the newborn’s arrival as a “very exciting time”, a friend of Helen told The Sun: “Helen was hoping to have the baby naturally, but the doctors decided it was best to induce. She is exhausted but doing well.”
The actress and reality star first announced that she was pregnant back in December, revealing she was “so excited” to become a mum for the first time.
Helen had previously spoken about her desire to start a family with Scott, admitting in an interview last year that she and her footballer boyfriend were trying for a baby.
She said: “I’ve always wanted to be a young mum and I now feel ready. It’s something I’ve wanted for ages and Scott’s going to be a great dad. I just hope it doesn’t take me too long to get pregnant. And I’m not bothered about getting married beforehand.”
