Peter and Tracey Needham absolutely loved Kentucky Fried Chicken. But wanting to slim down before their wedding, the pair found an ingenious way to adapt their favourite food and lose weight in the process.
The couple shed a combined weight of 16 stone before their big day and say their dramatic weight loss is down to swapping traditional KFC for chicken covered in Weetabix.
"At first I thought it sounded disgusting and a bit strange. But when I ate it, it was actually okay and it has worked a treat," Tracey said, according to the MailOnline.

Peter stumbled across the alternative chicken recipe on the internet and Tracey now claims Weetabix coated chicken tastes just like KFC "but not as greasy".
The couple also introduced exercise into their lifestyle, but maintain that it is the chicken that's made the most difference to their waistlines.
Over the course of two years, Tracey, 32, has gone from a size 24 and 19 stone, to her ideal weight of 11st 7lb.
Her efforts led to her being named Slimming World's 'Greatest Loser' in 2014 and she is now training to become a diet consultant.
Peter now weighs 12st 7lb after weighing almost 20 stone two years ago.

The change of diet hasn't just helped the couple to cut the calories they're consuming, it's also helped them to cut down their shopping bill.
Peter, 36, estimates they are saving around £50 per week since ditching takeaways such as KFC, curry and pizza in favour of home cooked meals they plan in advance.

The pair have said wanting to be able to play with their three-year-old son, Ethan, has motivated them to keep up their healthier diet after their wedding.
Since losing weight, they have gained a "new lease of life" as parents and say they have never been happier.
"Physically I am able to do more with him. I can chase him up to nursery, as he likes to peg it up the hill and I am able to catch up with him," Tracey said.
"I am exactly where I want to be with my weight. I am so much happier and more confident."
