One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson is set to become a dad, according to reports.

The singer is said to be expecting a baby with US stylist Briana Jungwirth, who he dated back in May, after splitting from long-term girlfriend Eleanor Calder.

According to The Sun, the pregnancy was a “surprise”, but both Louis and Briana are “both really happy”.
A source told the paper: “Louis is really excited about becoming a dad.
“Louis really cares about Briana and thinks she will be a great mum. Their friendship has got even stronger though this.”

The news has also been reported by US magazine People, with a mutual friend telling them: “They are both really happy and although they aren’t in a relationship, their friendship is extremely strong and they are both really excited about the baby.
“It’s early days and Briana and the baby’s health are the most important things right now.”
However, the reports have not yet been confirmed by Louis or his people, and One Direction's reps declined to comment when approached by HuffPost UK.
Needless to say the news has left 1D fans in meltdown, with many taking to Twitter to voice their shock.
Louis’ baby news comes just four months after Zayn Malik quit the group, to live life as a “normal 22-year-old”.
