Amazon's Prime Day is here and Twitter has passed judgment.
Dubbed as a Black Friday rival, many had their wallets primed to haemorrhage money.
However, as people signed on to click through the site's offerings there appears to be a palpable sense of disappointment.
While few lamented the company's obvious commercialisation of its 20th birthday, others were surprisingly horrified at what Amazon actually expected people to buy.

One customer likened it to a yard sale that nobody wants to buy anything from. Ouch.
